(Israelnationalnews.com) Member of Knesset Michael Ben-Ari reacted Tuesday to disclosures on the Wikileaks website that Binyamin Netanyahu supported land swaps right after he was elected prime minister. Ben-Ari said the 2009 documents "bring the terms 'leadership' and 'sovereignty' to the lowest level in his yielding to the United States administration." Dr. Ben-Ari said Netanyahu's readiness to make such a swap were another sign of the "ideological crumbling of the Likud party".
MK Aryeh Eldad said it was not American pressure that caused Netanyahu to change. Professor Eldad accused Netanyahu of defrauding the voters and deceiving the party and the public, and called him "dangerous to Israel".
