I understand Mr. Deshowitz's feelings about Jimmy Carter and am relieved he was instrumental in keeping him off the national stage.
Mr. Dershowitz is obviously a brilliant and talented individual. But he remains and individual and his opinion still only carries one vote. I have agreed and disagreed with him over the years. His view that Obama would have a positive effect on the "peace process" is ridiculous. Mr. Dershowitz predicted that Obama "will try to energize the peace process." Mr. Dershowitz must believe that land for peace will work (ask US Indians for their view) or that the Arabs don't simply want us all dead (him included) and Israel destroyed.
The contradictory evidence is huge!
Perhaps he needs to see the attitude of the Lithuanian government towards Jews:
