You can continue the same line of reasoning that at some time there was a Palestine, but everyone knows where the name came from (Palestinio) and it was Judea that the Romans tried to cover over by renaming after the Jews enemy...the Philistines. The fact remains that even though the Jews have temporarily withdrawn from Gaza...Hamas has not declared a state...They do not want a state, they want to kill all of the Jews and take over Israel.
Can't happen or it already would have many, many times.
