The Demographic Scare

Israel's Security

Obama’s dangerous consistency

The neoconservative policy of supporting the democratization of Muslim societies adopted by President Barack Obama’s predecessor George W. Bush has failed. And the appeasement policy adopted by Obama has also failed.

Their purported crimes relate either to their reported involvement in the production of the Internet movie critical of Islam that has received so much attention over the past 10 days, or to other alleged anti-Islamic activities.

One of the US citizens indicted is a woman who converted from Islam to Christianity.

According to the Associated Press, Egypt’s general prosecution issued a statement announcing that the eight US citizens have been indicted on charges of insulting and publicly attacking Islam, spreading false information, and harming Egyptian national unity.

The statement stipulated that they could face the death penalty if convicted.

The AP write-up of the story quoted Mamdouh Ismail, a Salafi attorney who praised the prosecution’s move. He claimed it would deter others from exercising their right to free expression in regards to Islam. As he put it, the prosecutions will “set a deterrent for them and anyone else who may fall into this.” That is, they will deter others from saying anything critical about Islam.

Master rats

Rats run from drowning ships for a practical reason: they feel no metaphysical attachment to the ship as the captain does. The rats have no reason to drown. They are smart and cynical, and thus they leave. And so do Slavs in Israel.
Russian people who moved to Israel originally had an imperial mindset: Israel was their new state, worth killing Arabs for, and the Arabs did not deserve to live in that state. The Russians, untainted with the Diaspora mentality, were more patriotic than many Jews.

Temple Mount Antiquities Salvage - Some Nice Pictures from the Exhibition

Lesson to be Learned - 1990

The Rabbis tell us that Gog will rise up against Israel in order to do war against the G-d of Israel.  The ultimate Hillul Hashem.  And, indeed, until the Jew understands that the war against Ishmael and ultimately the world, is a war of Judaism, of the G-d of Israel, against the nations and their religions and beliefs, a war to proclaim the G-d of Israel as King, as the One and only G-d, we will never understand any of the events that are taking place around us.

We do, indeed, not understand.  Worse, we do not want to understand.  Having been conquered and subjugated by the gentilized Foreign Culture, such talk sounds to us as “medieval” and “primitive” and “tribalistic” and, of course, “Khoumeinism.”  Alas, the Ishmaelites, the Muslims understand it only too well and Saddam, whether through belief or cynical politics, used it and proclaimed it in his proclamation calling for a holy war:

“To all Arabs and Muslims masses wherever they are – save Mecca and the Tomb of the Prophet from occupation . . .

“The imperialists, deviators, merchants, political agents, the servants of the foreigner and Zionism all stood up against Iraq only because it represents the conscience of the Arab nation and its ability to safeguard its honor and rights against any harm.

“Iraq, O Arabs, is your Iraq... It is the candle of the right to snuff out darkness…

“O Arabs, O Muslims and believers everywhere.  This is your day to rise and defend Mecca, which is captured by the spears of the Americans and Zionists.

“Strike at their interests everywhere.  Save Mecca and the Tomb of Prophet Mohammed in Medina…

“Victory is ours, God willing, and the invaders will be repelled and with them oppression and corruption everywhere and the sun will shine forever on the Arab and Muslim nations…”

This is what Gog is all about,  This is the beginning of the final era and the lessons of the events of our time can be summed up in one general cry: “Return unto Me, saith the L-rd of Hosts, and I will return unto you” (Zechariah 1); “Return unto Me, ye backsliding children, I will heal your backslidings.”  That is the lesson of lessons, and from it all the others, the individual lessons are to be learned.

The events surrounding the Iraqi attack and conquest of Kuwait are things to be studied, learned, to be engraved on the tablet of our hearts.  For there are so many lessons to be learned here, so many lessons that the Almighty pleads with us to learned before terrible tragedy strikes.

Jabotinsky’s place in history

The occasional spatter of articles don’t do justice to the lasting impact of Jabotinsky’s words and deeds.

Jabotinsky’s place in history Photo: Ariel Jerozolimski He was called the next Herzl, the next Dostoyevsky, the Jewish Garibaldi, the Jewish Churchill, the Prisoner of Acre, the Defender of Jerusalem, the Father of the Revolt, and the Father of the IDF. He wrote books, poems and articles. He founded armies and organizations. He was the voice of the downtrodden and was considered by some to be a modern day prophet, travelling around the world warning the people of impending destruction but never doubting their ultimate redemption. Yet, most Jews don’t know much about him or understand his impact on Jewish history.

In much of the Zionist literature, Ze’ev Jabotinsky and his Revisionist-Zionist movement are treated as an afterthought. Where discussed at all, they are often mentioned as a fringe faction, which happened to be correct on a number of issues. In Walter Laquer’s History of Zionism, Jabotinsky gets one chapter.

Now is the time to salute Ina Viniarsky

September 30th, 2012 - Partner in establishing 45 communities - now is the time to salute

Heads of the hit'yash'vut movement, ministers and public figures will
salute Ina Viniarsky, the Tekoa resident who was a partner in the
establishment of 45(!) communities in Judea, Samaria and the Gaza
Strip.

Written by Shimon Cohen for Arutz 7
Translated by Abayiss A. for Women in Green

In the community of Tekoa in Gush Etzion, everyone knows Ina
Viniarsky, but tens of thousands of residents (some of them second and
third generations of Judean and Samarian communities) in over 40
different communities are unaware that Ina Viniarsky, the warm, smiley
and energetic woman from Tekoa, was a partner in the establishment of
their community.

Now, after 35 years of pioneering operations and activities, the time
has come to salute the woman that immigrated from the Soviet Union to
Israel in 1974, and only 3 years later established the Tekoa community
together with one other family and 8 bachelors.

"Hizbullah threatened to conquer the Galilee", as riots spread throughout Northern Israel. MK Tibi  was in agreement and inflamed his Arab brethren]

March 30, 1976.  Nine A.M.  The Galilee, northern Israel, home of 300,000 Israeli Arabs.  The village of Sakhnin, a model of social and economic progress since 1948.  It has good roads, electricity, water, schools, appliances, television sets in every home.  It has “greatly advanced its integration into all fields of life of the State of Israel.”

More than 1,000 equal citizens of Israel-Arabs-are in the street facing a small number of police and soldiers.  It is “Land Day,” and the crowd grows larger by the minute.  Falastin, Falastin!” (Palestine, Palestine!”), the mob roars.  Other chants and shouts are heard:  “The Galilee is Arab!”  We will free the Galilee with blood and spirit!”  Rocks are suddenly thrown in the direction of the soldiers and police.  The small group of security men stare in disbelief and growing nervousness.  A fiery Molotov cocktail smashes against a wall a few yards away.  More and heavier stones, flaming torches, lighted cans of gasoline, and by now the soldiers are surrounded by a growing circle of hate-filled faces.  “Our villages do not belong to Israel,” shouts a young Arab.  “We belong to the state of Palestine!”
